What do we mean by “QT-”? We are using using “queer” and “trans” as umbrella terms and invite anyone who is self-identified as any of the following to speak at the mic: lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, two-spirit, queer, intersex, asexual, genderqueer, gender-variant, genderfluid, genderless, or non-binary.

What do we mean by “-POC”? People who self identify as persons of colour. We hope to see a diversity of people of colour represented at this event.

There is food on site for purchase: Little Pizza Heaven.

Accessibility: The venue is wheelchair accessible & there are gender-inclusive washrooms.

Safer space: We want to create a positive, open environment, free from oppressive comments and behaviour. Please be respectful of those who attend and perform.
We will not tolerate any sexism, racism, transphobia, homophobia, biphobia, fatphobia, ableism, or sexual harrassment. Please report any problematic behaviour to Christina Hajjar or Uzoma Chioma.

Please also note that the venue is for individuals 18+ and there will be alcohol for sale. Anyone who is too intoxicated will not be served.
